With all the excitement of Christmas Day morning, ‘We Wish Tu-ba Merry Christmas’ takes us on a whistlestop tour through some of our favourite Christmas numbers; Silent Night, Carol of the Bells and of course, We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Commissioned by the Birmingham-based tuba quartet, When Tuba Come One, the piece premiered online in 2020, during the first winter of the COVID-19 pandemic. Featuring no less than 27 lower brass players, the world premiere showcased musicians from across the world- from USA, Europe, and Asia, just in time for Christmas morning!
